Perhaps “it seems impossible” because …
We feel threatened – the risk is too great – sometimes true.
We deserve better – sometimes true.
We want to punish.
But “there are no other kinds of people”. Literally any and every person will somehow hurt or disappoint us. Because they are human – have baggage – and just like us are not yet perfectly developed specimens of healthy, loving human spirit.
SO IF WE WANT MORE-OR-LESS LOVING RELATIONSHIPS,
We need to not expect perfection.
And prepare ESPECIALLY
to forgive, not hold grudges.
